Notes - Classic Chicago Cubs Sammy Sosa #21 Mirage jersey. During the 90's the Cubs tied with the San Francisco Giants for a Wild Card spot, forcing a one game playoff, which the Cubs won. They however went on to lose in the first round of the playoffs, against the Braves. Sosa was involved in a home run race with the Cardinals Mark McGwire in 1998, narrowly losing as McGwire broke the single season home run record.
